What's the Difference between Swap and Buy/Sell?
Swap refers to the exchanging of the cryptocurrency you own into another cryptocurrency.
The mechanics of swapping and trading are the same, but the outcome is different. Trading cryptocurrencies and tokens means executing a trade based on the order book. Users can only execute a trade based on the trading pairs available on the specific exchange. Swapping is a similar process but with more flexibility that allows the exchange of any cryptocurrency for another even if the pair is not live on the spot market. This eliminates paying transaction fees more than once. Swapping is better as an immediate solution.
