The mechanics of swapping and trading are the same, but the outcome is different. Trading cryptocurrencies and tokens means executing a trade based on the order book. Users can only execute a trade based on the trading pairs available on the specific exchange. Swapping is a similar process but with more flexibility that allows the exchange of any cryptocurrency for another even if the pair is not live on the spot market. This eliminates paying transaction fees more than once. Swapping is better as an immediate solution.
Swap orders are executed at the current exchange rate at the time your transaction is locked in. This means that the rate is not fixed but based on the market price at the moment of the transaction.
The network fee is the only fee required, since it allows the transaction to be processed via blockchain. LYOWALLET doesn't charge any other fees.
- 1.Select the Exchange button from the upper side of your app menu.
2. Choose the two cryptocurrencies to swap.
3. Select the Exchange button and the app will swap the currencies immediately. Check the wallet to find the coins you requested.
